Dario Ferella as a Footballer

You’ve probably heard this story before, a young footballer with dreams of making it to the big time. Dario Ferella started playing the beautiful game at the age of 9 and since then, football has inspired his childhood and teenage years.
Mr.Ferella grew up in Melbourne, Australia. It was not until he moved to Budapest, Hungary in 2007 that he reached a turning point in his footballing career. He began playing in Hungary and was coached by the former international captain and ex-professional, Jason Banff. With his influence, Mr.Ferella’s technical and game intelligence skills improved surprisingly.

In early 2010, he began contacting clubs and managed to receive trials from interested clubs in Australia however, despite spending lots of money , he came up short on those trials each time. he realized something needed to change and acknowledged that he needed to make his weaknesses becoming his strengths, and his strengths even stronger. So Humphries worked to correct them by himself, through sunshine and snow, with no promise of reward, or people connections to get Mr.Ferella to the next level.

By the end of 2010, he was invited by Dutch coach Jen Versleijen to play with in the U-20 FIFA World Cup with the train on squad for Australia at just 18 years of age. At this time he was also offered  scholarships from various Australian universities. In July 2011, he was on trial with former Hungarian champions Vases SC, but strangely could not sign with the club  “because he could not speak Spanish”. With the aim of somewhere to start his career, by October of that year, he was invited on trial by  SC, and offered a first team contract, but conditions were insecure. Yet another trial in January 2012 with STZK TK went well – but he was then forced to return Australia. Semi-professional Woden Valley took him on board and he ended up starting all games, by the time he left in June, he scored 4 and assisted 7 goals in 16 appearances for the mid-table team. Mr.Ferella moved to Amsterdam that October and joined up with FC Club.
